Milwaukee's Best Friend to Folk

If you ever find yourself in Milwaukee, WI with nothing to do make sure you head down to Linneman's Riverwest Inn at 1001 E Locust. Jim and Terry run what has to be the most friendly, authentic bar/live music venue in town. The place is full of great photos, has a perfectly sized stage with great sound system and hosts some of the great up-and-coming poets, acoustic acts, and some great established local musicians. Occasionally even some notable international stars make an appearance. I never miss a chance to visit when in town, especially on Wed night for open mic night.
