Bike Rodeo and Washinton Irving Dad's Work Day

Great morning this Saturday! stevedR2.0, stevedR3.0 (my boys) and I headed out to look at a new house (wishing more than shopping) near their school, Washington Irving Elementary. After looking at what would be the dream home we moseyed over to the school for the Bike Rodeo/Dad's Work Day. While 2.0 went through the bike safety and training course 3.0 played on the playground. I had a workout pitching pea-gravel from two piles, spreading it around the playground. Then we all took to hedge clipping, raking and general cleanup around the school grounds. It was fun, family, community service, and workout all in one. Afterwards we rewarded ourselves with Johnnie's No.3 Chili-Cheese burgers and then it was nap time. OU vs. Missouri tonight at 5:30 pm. It is homecoming and ESPN Sports Center is on campus. Big day and Big Game!!
